Far Homestay is the love nest of a young couple in Danang, who seeks to start a homestay business in their locality near An Bang Beach, Hoian.
The house is situated less than 200 meters from the An Bang beach, surrounded by largely untouched wilderness. An Bang beach itself is admired for its quiet beauty, with peaceful waves crashing slowly onto the ivory shore. This is truly the ideal location for a tranquil homestay.
For this project, D1 capitalizes on the location advantage, being the landscape while maintaining privacy for residents. Cost optimization is the priority in this project. In order to save cost we employed extensive use of natural, locally available materials.

While wood was used for flooring and creating an overall texture for the interior space, it was combined with other traditional materials, such as whetstone, grindstone and bamboo screens... D1’s collaboration with local artisans made it possible to infuse Hoi An’s traditional soul into the design.
