Toong Coworking Space – PNT

Toong Pham Ngoc Thach is a unique architecture that harmonizes the quintessence of Vietnamese culture with the contemporary spirit. The work carries the "breath" of a modern city. The interference between old and new is a testament to the adaptation of traditional values in the face of the changing times.
The project was renovated on the old structure built in the 60s by architect Ngo Viet Thu, one of the most prominent figures of Vietnam modern times. His most iconic works include the Independence Palace, Dalat Market, Dalat Nuclear Research Institute, Hue University of Pedagogy and many other projects inside and outside the country.
Paying respect to one of the first architects who laid the foundation of Modernist Architecture in Vietnam, in this project, we approach the direction of renovating the building, and at the same time, selectively introducing new elements to express the downtempo feel of the coworking space.
After many times of "changing faces" from private houses to public spaces, now the space from first floor upwards has become a workspace for young office workers. D1 Architectural Studio and Toong offer a fully-equipped space for users with a variety of common services such as: reception, printing, meeting rooms, office studios, cafe, garden, pantries,...packed in the 1348m2 area of the building.
